
Noums Dembele
African roots
An outstanding musician and multi-instrumentalist from Burkina Faso. His musical journey began at the age of 3 when he first picked up the ngoni (an African harp). From his earliest childhood, Noums was surrounded by music. His father is a well-known and respected ngoni player and vocalist in Burkina Faso.

Outside of school, he spent his teenage years playing the balafon and ngoni. At the age of 15, he joined the musical group Fasso Djigui, which was based in the capital city of Ouagadougou. In 2008, the Fasso Djigui band was invited to Poland to perform at the Cross-Culture Festival.

International career
Noumassan returned to Poland again in 2015 with his brother Massa Dembele, with whom he performed once more at the Cross-Culture Festival. It was then that Noumassan established a relationship with the multiple bands both as a leader and as a talented instrumentalist and singer.
